Rekol is a personal memory and productivity service operated by PrabhaTech. In this policy, “Rekol”, “we”, and “us” refer to the service and its operator.
2. Information you provide
We collect information you choose to save, including notes, photos, audio, links, documents, reminders, tags, and account details such as your name, email address, and phone number.
3. How we use information
- To provide capture, search, organization, reminders, and account features.
- To analyze content when you enable AI analysis and return summaries, topics, suggestions, or action items.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and improve reliability.
- To send service notifications and reminders you request.
4. AI processing
When AI analysis is enabled, relevant content is processed to generate summaries and insights. You can disable AI analysis in the app’s privacy controls. We do not use your private memories to sell advertising.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that host, secure, analyze, or deliver the service, under contractual protections, or when required by law. You control when you share a memory or answer with another person.
6. Storage and security
We use access controls, encrypted connections, and reasonable technical safeguards to protect your information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so protect your account credentials and report suspected access promptly.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can export or delete memories from the app. Account deletion requests remove your account and associated data subject to limited legal, security, or backup retention.
8. Your choices
- Manage AI analysis, personalized suggestions, notifications, and device permissions in Settings.
- Access, export, correct, or delete your information through the app or by contacting us.
- Unsubscribe from optional product updates while continuing to receive essential service messages.
9. Children
Rekol is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
